Abstract
Proficiency testing is one of means to assess the facility management and analytical technology of chemicals in each field. In this study, diazinon and parathion, which are primary items among the compounds of drinking water criteria in Korea, will be tested to check the homogeneity and stability of proficiency testing conducted by the Drinking Water Division in accordance with ISO 13528:2015 Annex B. The homogeneity of the prepared samples, including two pesticides, was assessed for 12 samples, which were selected at random, by using the statistical analysis of variance (one-way layout design). For the stability of the two pesticides, they were tested at three different temperatures, cool, room level, and hot, in this study. As a statistic result of diazinon, the F ratio (1.086) was smaller than the F critical value (2.717), and for parathion, the F ratio (1.371) was smaller than the F critical value (2.717). Also, for the assessment on stability, since the homogeneity test result is 0.3 times smaller than the standard deviation, the stability of the proficiency testing samples were carefully secured in accordance with KS Q ISO 13528 in this study.
